Warranty Policy – Absolute Repair LLC (Greensburg, PA)

This page explains the limited warranties that may apply to services provided by Absolute Repair LLC in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas of Westmoreland County. Our goal is to be clear and honest about what is covered, what is not covered, and how to request warranty service if something is not right.

Because every job is different, your written estimate or invoice always controls first. If your paperwork lists a specific warranty or time period for a service, that written term is what we follow for that job. This page gives our general warranty guidelines for typical handyman, cleaning, carpet, junk, and small tech/appliance work.

  • Workmanship-focused limited warranties – not lifetime guarantees
  • No warranty on misuse, abuse, or pre-existing conditions
  • Owner responsibility for maintenance, proper use, and environment
  • AI photo estimates and written scope control what is covered

Important: Nothing on this page is legal advice. Warranty terms may vary by job. If your written estimate or invoice states a different warranty period or limitation, that written term applies to that job.

What Our Warranty Generally Covers

Absolute Repair LLC provides a limited workmanship warranty on many handyman-type services, subject to the conditions and exclusions described on this page and in your written paperwork. In simple terms, this means: we stand behind reasonable workmanship for a limited time when:

  • The work was performed by Absolute Repair LLC or our direct helpers
  • The work followed the written scope and estimate for your job
  • The problem is directly related to our workmanship (not to misuse, abuse, or underlying structure)
  • You notify us within the warranty time period listed on your paperwork or, if not listed, within a reasonable short period after the work is completed

Example: If we patch a clearly defined area of drywall and the patch itself fails due to our workmanship in a short, reasonable period of time, we may repair or touch up that specific patch as a warranty service, subject to limits below.

Typical Warranty Time Frames (Unless Paperwork States Otherwise)

Because jobs can range from small touch-ups to larger multi-room projects, we do not promise the same warranty period for everything. Instead, your written estimate or invoice may list a specific warranty. If it does not, the following are general expectations:

  • Handyman repairs: Often a short, reasonable workmanship warranty on the specific repair area only.
  • Cleaning services: No long-term warranty; quality is measured at or shortly after service.
  • Low-moisture carpet cleaning: No guarantee that permanent stains will fully disappear or stay gone.
  • Junk removal & light hauling: Work is complete once items agreed upon are removed or relocated.
  • Basic tech / small appliance work: Frequently no long-term warranty, especially for older or failing devices.

The exact warranty for your job is what appears in your paperwork. If your estimate says “no warranty” for a certain service, then no warranty applies for that part of the job.

What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover

We want to be very clear about what is not covered by our limited warranty. In general, our warranty does not cover:

  • Pre-existing conditions (problems that were already there before we arrived)
  • Structural issues such as foundation movement, framing problems, or major settling
  • Damage from leaks, flooding, weather, or moisture after we leave
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect of the area or item after we complete work
  • Owner-supplied materials that fail, discolor, or wear poorly
  • Stains that return because of wicking, pets, spills, or deep contamination
  • Normal wear and tear from daily life, traffic, or aging
  • Changes made by others after we are done, including other contractors
  • Work we advised against that the customer insisted on anyway, documented in writing
  • Any conditions clearly outside handyman scope or beyond our control

Our warranty is about reasonable workmanship on the specific work we described and completed, not about guaranteeing how your entire home or every surface will behave over time.

Materials & Manufacturer Warranties

Absolute Repair LLC is not a manufacturer. Any warranty on materials (paint, flooring, fixtures, appliances, parts, etc.) usually belongs to the manufacturer or retail seller, not to us.

  • If materials fail or discolor due to a manufacturer defect, that is typically a matter between you and the manufacturer or store.
  • We may assist in documenting the problem, but we do not automatically replace materials at our own cost if the failure is not related to our workmanship.
  • Used, discounted, or clearance materials may have no warranty at all from the seller.

When in doubt, keep your **receipts, boxes, and product information** for materials used on your project. That information is often needed for manufacturer claims.

Special Notes for Cleaning & Low-Moisture Carpet Services

Cleaning and low-moisture carpet services are different from installing brand new surfaces. Results depend heavily on the starting condition, type of stains, age of materials, and how the area is used afterward.

  • We do not guarantee that all stains, odors, or discoloration will be fully removed.
  • We are not responsible for stains or traffic wear returning after the carpet dries.
  • We do not warrant against pre-existing damage (bleach spots, burns, heavy wear, pet damage, etc.).
  • Any feedback about cleaning quality should be reported as soon as possible after service.

We offer low-moisture cleaning only, not full steam extraction, and our warranty is limited to the reasonable quality of the cleaning itself at the time of service.

Special Notes for Junk Removal & Light Hauling

For junk removal and light hauling, our work is considered complete when we have removed the items listed in your written estimate from the specified area.

  • We do not warrant that no new items will appear later in the same area.
  • We do not cover damage caused by items remaining that were not part of the agreed removal.
  • We do not accept responsibility for hazardous or prohibited items that were not disclosed.

If you believe we missed items that were clearly included in your written scope, contact us quickly with photos so we can review and respond.

Tech & Small Appliance Work – Very Limited Warranty

Small appliance and basic tech help often involve older or failing devices where repairs may or may not hold over time. In many cases, we may not be able to offer any long-term warranty on these services.

  • We are not a factory-authorized repair center.
  • We cannot guarantee that a device will continue to work for any specific length of time.
  • Our responsibility is limited to the specific task described (for example, attempting a certain repair or inspection) at the time of service.

Before we start, we will tell you frankly if we think a device is not worth repairing or if the outcome is a gamble.

How to Request Warranty Service

If you believe something related to our workmanship is failing within your warranty period, please follow this process:

  1. Contact us as soon as you notice the issue.
Text or call 878-786-0091 and include photos and a short description.
  2. Provide your name, address, and job/estimate number.
This helps us pull your paperwork and see what scope and warranty were originally agreed to.
  3. We review the information.
We compare your concern with the written estimate and any warranty language for that job.
  4. We respond with next steps.
We may schedule a time to come look at the issue, propose a touch-up, explain why it is not covered, or offer a good-faith adjustment if appropriate.

We cannot guarantee a particular outcome in every case, but we will always explain our reasoning and decisions in plain language so you understand how we arrived there.

How AI Photo Estimates Connect to Warranty

All of our jobs start with AI-assisted photo estimates combined with real-world experience. That estimate creates the written scope of work. Our warranty, if any, applies to the work described in that scope—not to areas, surfaces, or problems that were not part of the job.

  • If a problem arises in an area we did not work on, it is not covered.
  • If hidden damage was not visible in your photos and not reasonably discoverable, new work may require a new estimate and is not automatically covered.
  • If the written scope clearly limited what we were doing, we only warrant what we actually agreed to do.

Clear photos and honest descriptions at the beginning help create a fair estimate and realistic expectations for both pricing and warranty.

No Flat-Fee or Lifetime Warranty Promises

To avoid confusion or misleading offers:

  • We do not advertise “lifetime” warranties on handyman, cleaning, or carpet services.
  • We do not guarantee that nothing will ever crack, chip, stain, or wear again.
  • We do not bundle pricing and lifetime guarantees into flat-fee internet specials.

Homes move, people live in them, and surfaces naturally change over time. Our promise is to deliver reasonable workmanship for a fair price and to respond in good faith if something directly related to our work goes wrong within a short, reasonable period—subject to the limitations described here and in your paperwork.
